Be sure to exfoliate and moisturize the skin and complete any appointments with your esthetician for proper skin care. Facials or any other skincare procedures are best to avoid within a few days of a makeup application as well. Do not wax any area of the face within a few days of your makeup application appointment!

On the day of your wedding wear a V-neck or button front shirt or dress, so that you can change into your wedding attire without messing up your hair or makeup. The morning of cleanse your face well, it should be makeup-free. Be sure to wash away any eye makeup/mascara residue from your lashes, especially in the lash line! If you take a daily allergy or sinus medication, remember to take it before your appointment. Excessively watery eyes can complicate false lash applications!

Make sure your hair is washed at least the night before; arrive with clean blow-dried hair.

What should I expect when you arrive on the wedding date?

When possible, I arrive at the venue 15-30 minutes before our scheduled start time to set up, and then we will start a rotation for hair and/or makeup services. I will create and follow a schedule. Each bridal party member will have their own reserved time slot for hair and makeup. During their scheduled time slot, each party member should be prepared with their desired look in mind as well as be ready to start on time. There will be no phone calls or distractions allowed during their scheduled time slot. When it is not their scheduled time slot, the rest of the bridal party is free to set up, run errands, take care of any last-minute details, whatever needs to be done, or to just relax and have fun!
